Tedros Nicholas Arthur Gareth Pendragon was born to Arthur and Guinevere Pendragon. Affectionately called Teddy, he had dark hair like his mother and deep blue eyes like his father, along with fair skin. Due to his fair complexion, there were whispers in the court that Tedros was not Guinevere's child, as this was a time before science could confirm parentage.By the time he was two, it became evident that he was born with magic. His cries would cause items to fall, and shaking, along with mirrors and windows, would burst from his outbursts. Magic, luckily had been legalized after Merlin saved Arthur's life at Camlann.Like Arthur, Tedros was stubborn but just. His heart reflected the compassionate natures of both his parents. He was more open-minded about magical beings than his father and tended to be quite curious, a trait that often landed him in trouble.As the firstborn, Tedros grew up in line for the throne. Raised by Arthur, he eventually came of age and was crowned Prince. Following in his father's footsteps, he further united the land of Albion, making him the first High King of Greater Albion. Tedros would later be reborn after his death as Nicholas Williams, some 500 years later.

In his next life, he was reborn as Tedros Nicholas Arthur Gareth Mountchristen-Windsor-Fox, to Princess Catherine and Arthur Fox. However, Nicholas was stolen from the hospital by noblewoman Leeanna williams and Dylan Paenn, an american socialite, who desperately wanted a boy to carry on their name. The police did not discover the kidnapping until six months later, by which time the couple had forged his legal name as Nicholas Arthur Gareth Paenn-Williams. Upon uncovering this fraud shortly after the paperwork was filed, the monarchy, for the sake of family peace, negotiated to allow the child to remain with the Paenns after Nicholas refused Catherine due to a lack of connection and her inability to nurse him. His true birth records were sealed shortly thereafter.Nicholas is the youngest twin to Henry Fox and has dark hair, unlike his twin, who is light-haired. Despite his challenging upbringing, Nicholas is said to have a kind soul, particularly in relation to his adoptive sister Rita, who is three years younger. His first eleven years were marked by severe abuse from his parents, especially from Dylan, who did not see him as his true son, despite having gone to great lengths to steal him as a baby. This treatment led Nicholas to withdraw into himself until his adoptive grandparents on his father’s side noticed his troubled behavior, contrasting with Dylan's public, prude persona.Eventually, Nicholas became the favorite among his grandparents and great-grandparents on his father's side, aside from Rita. When he was ten, his great-grandmother, Nona, passed away, leaving him the majority of her wealth, while Rita received trust funds for their futures. This inheritance resulted in further strife with his father, who resorted to physical abuse. Things worsened when Nona's husband, Robert, passed away a year later, making Nicholas the heir to a multi-million estate, while his sister inherited the jewelry.After suffering severe abuse from Dylan, his grandfather noticed the bruises and contacted his lawyers. He refused to allow Nicholas to return home, and a few months later, he won custody of both Nicholas and Rita. Nicholas’s grandparents disowned his parents, along with their other children, for their disrespectful behavior.Communication with the royal family was severed, and the Paenns ultimately relocated to the United States to avoid backlash.Nicholas’s grandparents were far more loving than his parents, allowing him to flourish in his new school. During this time, he confided in his grandmother, Elena, about his bisexuality. She embraced his truth but kept it from the royal family, believing it was none of their business.After attending university for a degree in music, Nicholas stepped into the duties his grandfather could no longer fulfill. Over time, Nicholas took over completely, setting aside his aspirations of becoming a famous pianist, although he still performed at charity events. Six months later, he was named the main heir to their estates along with his sibling and was appointed Viscount of Wales by the reigning monarch. He also discovered from an anonymous source that he was, in fact, the twin of Henry Fox. The nurse who assisted during his birth ultimately had access to his files, revealing this information. Soon after, the king confirmed his awareness and arranged for Nicholas to be made Prince of Wales, moving him into the palace with Henry and his siblings.

Changing his name to Nicholas Williams, he begins his new quest and goes to search for the famed sword. descendants Nicholas Pendragon is the heir to the Pendragon throne and attending Auradon Preparatory School with his sister under the watch of the Fairy Godmother. Despite his aunt being thrown on the Island, he like his father do not believe the children of villains deserve to be condemned. He has long advocated and tried to reason with Adam for giving his aunt another chance who was thrown there after repenting from her crimes. Due to this, Albion has a loose "friendship" with Auradon resulting in magic being legal still on the isle.

The prince starts plotting to regain his father's affection and to get what he thinks is rightfully his. All while playing into Merlin's plan for him when he thinks Arthur fails.
