Tedros Nicholas Arthur Gareth Pendragon was born to Arthur and Guinevere Pendragon. Affectionately called Teddy, he had dark hair like his mother and deep blue eyes like his father, along with fair skin. Due to his fair complexion, there were whispers in the court that Tedros was not Guinevere's child, as this was a time before science could confirm parentage.By the time he was two, it became evident that he was born with magic. His cries would cause items to fall, and shaking, along with mirrors and windows, would burst from his outbursts. Magic, luckily had been legalized after Merlin saved Arthur's life at Camlann.Like Arthur, Tedros was stubborn but just. His heart reflected the compassionate natures of both his parents. He was more open-minded about magical beings than his father and tended to be quite curious, a trait that often landed him in trouble.As the firstborn, Tedros grew up in line for the throne. Raised by Arthur, he eventually came of age and was crowned Prince. Following in his father's footsteps, he further united the land of Albion, making him the first High King of Greater Albion. Tedros would later be reborn after his death as Nicholas Williams, some 500 years later.

However, Nicholas was stolen from the hospital by noblewoman Leeanna williams and Dylan Paenn, an american socialite, who desperately wanted a boy to carry on their name. The police did not discover the kidnapping until six months later, by which time the couple had forged his legal name as Nicholas Arthur Gareth Paenn-Williams. Upon uncovering this fraud shortly after the paperwork was filed, the monarchy, for the sake of family peace, negotiated to allow the child to remain with the Paenns after Nicholas refused Catherine due to a lack of connection and her inability to nurse him. His true birth records were sealed shortly thereafter.Nicholas is the youngest twin to Henry Fox and has dark hair, unlike his twin, who is light-haired. Despite his challenging upbringing, Nicholas is said to have a kind soul, particularly in relation to his adoptive sister Rita, who is three years younger. His first eleven years were marked by severe abuse from his parents, especially from Dylan, who did not see him as his true son, despite having gone to great lengths to steal him as a baby.
